The title is not only suggestive but actually describes the three shorter pieces. All three pieces display an unusual sound color or harmonic structure. Rich in minor seconds and major seconds, chords are being backed up by their corresponding roots according to Hofmann-Engl's virtual pitch model. The unusual sound color is further achieved by using localized melodic elements which are within a key or related to the root in the bass. As always, it is difficult to describe a sound if there are no or no comparisons known to the composer. We might say, the music is atmospheric, glassy and astonishingly easy to listen to.
